Approximately 2 weeks before the MozHub Conference in Oct 2003, I received a notice from a Christian friend about the conference, you thought I should attend. His thoughts were such as I had accepted a position to work as a Community Development Manager in Mozambique.

The weekend conference was a wonderful blessing. To meet so many people who have a heart for Mozambique and are daily walking a road with God at their sides, doing His will, was tremendous. The feedback from the missionaries, discussions and group prayer sessions had a flavour of divine unity. As we prayed in our various groups for specific needs each one prayed in their own mother tongue and although we could not understand each other we could feel the power of the Holy Spirit moving amongst us. Praise and worship was a happy time where all people praised the Lord in the way they felt comfortable, without the judgement of others. An atmosphere of love, acceptance and a common goal was strongly present throughout the weekend. God worked in wonderous ways that weekend, fulfilling needs and calling His children to do His work. Friendships were formed and all present were rewarded with “cups that runneth over”.

Thank you to All who were instrumental in organizing this conference and also thank you to the servant who heard God’s call and began with this vision.
